Adventurous Archaeology is a labor of love. As an archaeologist and woman myself, I wanted to create a space for archaeologists identifying as women to share their unique experiences and perspectives. Whether it's the freshest research, the furthest excavations or the hardest realities, Adventuress is a place to discuss it all.
Every article and every issue are written and created by women, for women. That's not to say that our magazine and our content isn't for everyone, it absolutely is! But the aim of Adventuress Archaeology is to highlight an often marginalised group and to create a platform exclusively for them.
